hmm!! since i live in the north west, the north east is only a few hours away, gonna find out from someone i know who lives not far from Co durham

Thanks for letting us know about this Amanda. I loved seeing Ray at Potters so am going to book for this - and I don't think Durham is quite as far from Wigan as Norfolk was so that's good!

Is the date right as I thought Ray was still in Dirty Dancing in October ??

wish i cud go but that's way 2 far 4 us.:(Im not even gonna bother asking! :'(

Thanks for letting us know about this Amanda. I loved seeing Ray at Potters so am going to book for this - and I don't think Durham is quite as far from Wigan as Norfolk was so that's good!

The date is correct Anne.  Amanda posted the Thursday Friday and Saturday of that week as Rays holiday dates from Dirty Dancing.

That's great news, thank you. I am going to book. Never been to Durham and have heard it is a beautiful city so that will make it even more special. One thing about being a Ray fan- you get to see Great Britain!!

That would be so cool, but its gonna be a bit on the pricy side, not to put to fine a point on it!!! I think I shall have to work on it...haha

I hope you can go :).The pricing is really not that bad,if you look about,Tricia gave me another train company(its in another post above) to try and they are really reasonable,plus if you book in advance and stay at the hotel,you get a discount off the room,which isn't payable until the day of arrival

Oh im so pleased that you have managed to book for this Amanda especially as you couldn't make the one at potters. Im deffo gonna look into this as I would love to hear Ray sing swing as I haven't been to any of his concerts.

Its such a shame that the timing is just not right for you Sue. It's just so annoying when that happens isn't it. 

may just take the plunge & book tickets, then think of the cost nearer the time.

Well you win some and lose some. Never seen Ray sing swing or been to any of his concerts but hopefully there will be another time. I'll still have the reviews to read and the pictureshopefully to look at.

@Manda welldone 4 booking. Ive only ever heard Ray sing "aint that a kick in the head" during panto.:)
