I know what an absolute shock.  Can't believe it.  We went to see him at Wembley in the 80's and he was absolutely brilliant on stage.  So shocked.

:(  I'm so sad, Michael Jackson and the Jackson 5 were such a big part of my growing up.  It's so unfair, after all his personal controversy over recent years he didn't get to show the world he is still a musical geneous, a legend.  He is the last of the great icons of his era and will be remembered along side the greats such as Elvis Presley, John Lennon.  There's a new bright and shining star in heaven.  God bless you Michael xx

We had Sky news on before we went to bed last night, I was so shocked to see this. (He's younger than me  )

I was also shocked (and disgusted) that the crowds were gathering outside the hospital and some people were actually selling t-shirts with 'Michael Jackson RIP' on them - will they make money out of anything:ohmy:

Gosh that's dreadful selling t-shirts.  He is such an icon, and will be remembered for his music, dancing and his whole being.  A legend just like Elvis and Diana.  Such sad news.  I saw him in concert at Wembley back in the 80's and he was absolutely brilliant.  I went to see Thriller recently on staghe which was super.  I think they should carry on with the 02 shows for fans, and the people who have bought all those tickets still hear his music and celebrate his life.  They could put the fella who personates him and acts as his stand-in on stage, or perhaps the Thriller cast..  He was on TV this morning on the news.  Just think it such a shame for those who have bought the tickets to not go to hear his music, and the money raised for tickets could go to charity..

aw I loved Michael Jackson :( I know he got a bit weird towards the end of his life but still...!

Sad, Ray won't be able to go to his tour now! And George Sampson was gonna be on it too, sad for him.

Have just  read the message and bought a lump to my throat.  What a lovely and moving message.  Hope Ray reads it aswell. I have been watching all the TV programmes since Friday, especially 'The  Story of MJ'  really good story, and the music.
