Raymond Arthur Quinn was born on 25th August 1988,in the Knowsley area of Liverpool,to parents Val and Ray snr.Ray has been a star since the age of 1,when he won his first competition.At 11 months old Ray entered a bonny baby competition at Butlins,Minehead and won first prize.
Ray's mum has know of her youngest son's special talent from a very young age,from when he used to mimic stars on television!!

At the age of 3 his mum took him to his first dance class,but he didn't like it at first,but returned at the age of 6!!Since then Ray has loved singing,dancing and acting!!At the age of 12 Ray began dancing with Kirsty McInnerny,with whom he won many awards

Ray also attended the Merseyside Dance and Drama Centre studying performing arts.Whilst there he took part in many productions including Footloose,and also the role of Sonny in Grease.

Raymond Quinn began his dancing career at the age of six at Chiltern School of Dance & Drama under the guidance of his mentor and manager Mrs Colette Byatt. Following national recognition for his role as the bullied schoolboy, Anthony Murray, in Brookside, Ray transferred to MDDC to pursue his musical theatre career.
Ray began singing at the age of nine with Mrs Suzanne Taylor and continued his singing training with Suzanne throughout his time at MDDC.
After the long and arduous journey that saw Ray as runner up in the 2006 X Factor Ray has seen his stage and TV career flourish, with credits such as Baby Ballroom.
Ray is currently playing “Doody” in Grease at the Picadilly Theatre in the heart of London’s West End.
